Fabric Width & Pattern Direction
Our premium fabrics are woven on looms that produce a standard width (typically 110" or 280cm). This width determines how we cut and construct your custom curtains.
Seam Guide:
- No Seam Needed: If your curtain’s finished width and length are both less than the fabric’s standard width, we can create it from a single, seamless panel.
- Seam Required: If your curtain’s finished width exceeds the fabric’s width, we will expertly sew panels together to achieve your desired size. Seams are carefully aligned and finished for a polished look.
*Specially For Patterns:
Fabrics with a directional pattern (e.g., stripes, damasks) have an additional consideration. The pattern’s orientation is fixed on the fabric. Therefore, the curtain’s finished height is also limited by the fabric’s width.
If the finished curtain width does not exceed the fabric roll width, the pattern does not need to be rotated. The pattern direction on the finished curtain will match that on the fabric roll.
If your desired curtain height exceeds the fabric width, seams will be required and the pattern will also need to be rotated 90 degrees to achieve the correct orientation.
Notes:
1. For solid color curtains that require a seam to achieve the desired width, the seam will be created as a standard part of production.
Returns or refunds are not eligible based solely on the presence of a seam in the finished curtain.
2. For patterned fabrics, if achieving your desired curtain dimensions requires a seam and a 90-degree pattern rotation, we will send you a confirmation email prior to production.
If we do not receive a response within 24 hours, we will proceed with the pattern rotation as the default method.
Once production is begun under this policy, returns or refunds are not eligible due to pattern orientation.
